Surface modification of cotton fabric in silane coupling agent solution was carried out using impregnation method to prepare modified cotton fabric. Using FTIR XRD、SEM, Research on the surface morphology, chemical composition, and surface contact angle hysteresis of modified cotton fabrics using surface contact angle analyzers.
The results showed that the cyclic opening of epoxy groups in alkali solution by aminosilane reacted with hydroxyl groups in cellulose in the amorphous region of cotton fibers, improving the crystallinity and surface roughness of cotton fibers, reducing the hysteresis of surface contact angle, and enhancing the hydrophobicity of the fabric.
